Green-to-Clean

It doesn't take long for a pool to turn green. Poor water circulation, old water, a damaged filter, or lack of sanitation can all be contributing factors to algae growth in a swimming pool. If untreated, a swimming pool can turn completely green. We can remedy this by two main ways:

  1. Pool Draining & Chlorine Bath

  2. Services, Chemical Treatments and Filter Cleans

Every situation is different but call us for a free estimate and we can find out whats best for you!

Inspections

For new home buyers, we offer a full swimming pool inspection service where we do an in-depth walk through of the pool and equipment and submit a written evaluation along with an expense breakdown.

Filter Cleaning / Complete Chemistry Breakdown:

USUALLY REQUIRED WITH SERVICE 1-2 TIMES PER YEAR DEPENDING ON SIZE OF POOL, USAGE AND DEBRIS LOAD

Residential swimming pool filters should be disassembled and cleaned 1-4 time per year depending on filter size and other factors. At Blue Tide, we don't just do a quick "rinse and go" of your filter. We do a complete breakdown and inspection. Below is the rigorous filter clean process we go through each and every time we service a swimming pool filter.

  1. Filter Disassembled

  2. Grids / Cartridges Cleaned

  3. Grids / Cartridges Inspected for Wear or Damage

  4. Filter Tank Drained

  5. Filter Reassembled & Sealed

  6. Chemistry Breakdown:

    • Cyanaric Acid

    • Phosphates

    • Calcium

    • TDS (Total Dissolved Solids)

Repairs

Troubleshooting

Among an array of different issues, we can trouble shoot low suction problems, high filter pressure issues, minor air leaks, chemistry difficulties and slow or non-existent cleaner movement. Our troubleshooting fee is automatically applied to the repair labor cost if the client decides to go forward with the repair.

Equipment Replacement & Upgrades

As with all things, equipment gets old and breaks down. If we deem the equipment unsalvageable, we can recommend replacement or upgrading existing equipment, such as pumps, to more energy efficient, variable flow pumps.
