  • Regular pool service helps maintain water quality, safety, and proper chemical balance. Consistent maintenance also protects pool equipment and surfaces, reducing the risk of costly repairs over time.

    This includes:

    • Chlorine and pH testing and adjustment (chemicals included)

    • Equipment inspection and cleaner maintenance

    • Skimmer and pump baskets checked and emptied

    • Tile cleaning

    • Surface netting

    • Wall brushing as needed

    • Vacuuming as needed

  • Including the same services as weekly service, but performed only during the winter, November 1st through March 1st. The cost is reduced 20% from the weekly rate.

  • Filter cleaning is typically required 1–2 times per year with regular service, depending on pool size, usage, and debris load. Proper filter maintenance helps restore circulation, improve water clarity, and protect pool equipment.

    At Blue Tide, filter cleaning is never a quick rinse. Each filter is fully disassembled, cleaned, and inspected to ensure it is operating correctly.

    Our filter cleaning process includes:

    • Full filter disassembly

    • Thorough cleaning of grids or cartridges

    • Inspection for wear or damage

    • Draining and cleaning of the filter tank

    • Proper reassembly and sealing

  • For service customers, we can often diagnose issues on the spot.

    But for complex troubleshooting, we charge a flat fee that is only charged if we find the problem.

    Then, if you choose to proceed with repairs, the troubleshooting fee is applied toward the repair labor.

  • When repairing isn’t the best option, we can replace equipment, offering a 1 year warranty on labor and 2 year warranty on the equipment. Equipment includes:

    • Pool Pumps - Variable and Single Speed

    • Filters

    • Cleaners

    • Salt Systems

    • Heaters

  • For new home buyers, we offer a full swimming pool inspection service where we do an in-depth walk through of the pool and equipment and submit a written evaluation along with an expense breakdown. 

  • It doesn’t take long for a pool to turn green. Poor circulation, aging water, damaged filtration, or inadequate sanitation can all contribute to algae growth. If left untreated, algae can quickly take over the pool.

    Depending on the severity, we address algae issues in one of two ways:

    • Pool draining and chlorine bath

    • Targeted chemical treatments combined with filter cleaning

Service Costs & Breakdown

Regular Swimming Pool Service

  • Our weekly maintenance schedule. We offer one standard rate - no gimmicks with service tiers. No mystery chemical costs.

    Just a clean pool, every visit, and one flat cost at the end of the month.

    Weekly Service starts at $165 a month. Most standard size pools are $175-$185 per month.

  • Our winter schedule we service every other week instead of weekly. We find this works best for our customers as they are not using their swimming pools this time of year.

    Our winter rate is a 20%-25% reduction from our weekly service rate. Over the course of 4 months this adds up to about 1 free month a year!

  • We do offer above ground spa service also. Weekly service for an above ground spa is $120 per month, and $95 for every other week service.

  • We only service swimming pools with in pool cleaners to help manage debris between visits. If the customer does not have their own, we can put in our own as a part of regular pool service. These costs will be discussed when the service bid is discussed.

Filter Cleans

  • We service both Quad DE Cartridge and Standard Cartridge Filters. Our costs vary, based off the size and number of the cartridges.

    For smaller cartridge filters, we reccomend servicing them 4+ times per year and charge $75-$95 per cleaning.

    For larger 4 cartridge filters we charge our standard rate of $135 per cleaning.

  • We service both standard grid style DE filters and newer, Quad DE filters.

    We charge $135 for the initial yearly cleaning and $95 for secondary rinse downs in between the annual service.

  • We do not service sand filters.

Troubleshooting & Repairs

  • For larger issues we cannot troubleshoot at the time of service, we bring in our repair technician to troubleshoot equipment mechanical problems. We charge $135 for him to come out.

  • No. Our service plans are month-to-month. You can discontinue service at any point in time. We just kindly ask that you provide us with 30 days advance notice.

  • All standard chemicals (such as chlorine and acid) are included in the monthly service rate.

    However, we use specialty chemicals in your pool on a weekly basis (such as conditioner, algaecide, and water clarifiers). We bill on a semi-annual basis for those specialty chemicals at a rate that varies depending on the needs of the pool.

  • Our monthly service rate does not include filter cleans. We perform filter cleans 2-4x a year for all of our customers, and we bill for those separate from the monthly service charges once the filter clean is performed.

  • We bill in arrears, meaning we bill for the previous months services in the first week of the following month.

  • We accept payments through ACH, Credit Card, Venmo, Zelle, Personal Check or Bank Issued Checks. We do not accept cash.
